jess kuts was born in syracuse, ny to two immigrant parents from ukraine. she moved to ithaca, ny to study at ithaca college and complete a b.a. in economics and a minor in politics. she is currently based in ithaca, ny as a bartender. her work is illustrative with a graphic edge and is mostly ink work, printmaking, and acrylic painting. her primary subjects are nature and geometry.
